How to Book A Ride

Please note due to fire conditions in the area we will not be taking bookings for rides until further notice. If you have a ride booked in the near future please call 250-463-4341 to rebook.

Step 1

The first step is to call our dispatcher at 250-463-4341.
The dispatcher will take the information needed to register you as a client and book your ride.

  • To register we will need to know:

    • Your name, address, phone number, email address, and emergency contact number

    • Whether you have any significant mobility issues or medical issues that could affect you during the trip. Please note our vehicle is too small to accommodate larger wheelchairs or walkers.

    • If you are ambulatory but need help getting in and out of he car and/or assistance at your destination, you will need someone to travel with you as the driver cannot provide this service.

    • This form will be kept on file so they can be used again if you book additional rides.

  • To book your ride we will need:

    • The reason for your trip, where you want to go, when you want to go, as well as the expected duration of the trip.

    • Please note we will need 24 hours notice to schedule your ride.

Step 2

Once the dispatcher has arranged a volunteer driver for your trip, the driver will:

  • Contact you with the pickup time to get you where you need to go on time.

  • Give you a one-time Statement of Understanding to read and sign when they arrive at your home.

  • Complete a form for you to sign regarding possible COVID exposure before each trip. See the steps we have taken to protect both clients and drivers in our Protocols below.

  • We suggest you bring your own mask but we have masks available if needed as both you and the driver will be required to wear a mask at all times.

  • Bring any mobility aids such as canes, or walkers, and medications needed.

  • If you have access to a computer, you can review our Statement of Understanding, COVID-19 Questionnaire and Policy by clicking on the buttons below.

COVID-19 Protocols

To keep both our clients and volunteer drivers safe during the Pandemic we will be following strict COVID-19 protocols. Both clients and drivers will need to complete a questionaire before each trip regarding possible COVID exposure. A Lexan barrier has been installed in the car between the back and front seats and both clients and drivers will be required to wear masks. In addition the car will be sanitized between client trips. To read our detailed COVID policy click on the button below.

Step 3

Donations from riders are greatly appreciated as there are ongoing costs to provide this service. For details click on the suggested donation schedule below. This schedule and an envelope for your donation will be provided in the car. No rider will be turned away in the event of a non-donation. If you need to cancel your ride, or you have any concerns about your trip please call the dispatcher.

Have a safe and comfortable ride!
